Jovino dos Santos is autor, compositor, interpreter and arranger of Cape Verdean music – one who really marked his generation! Jovino grew up in Sao Vicente in the house of his aunt „Nha Camila“, owner of the well known Cafe Cantante, the meeting point of all musicians in Mindelo at that time. With his new CD he invites the audience to discover the rich and mystic Cape Verdean culture. He makes the audience feel, that his soul is always connected with his land and his people in their daily life.
